Monday, November 10 -- Legislative Meetings by Lignite Energy Council - Bismarck, North Dakota

On behalf of the Lignite Energy Council, I would like to invite you to attend one of the four legislative meetings we are hosting around the state on November 17th and November 18th. Please choose the meeting date and site that is most convenient for you. For meal count purposes, let us know your meeting site choice by Thursday, November 13th.



The meetings will be held as follows:



· Doublewood Inn, Bismarck: Lunch at 12:00 p.m. (CST) Monday. Nov. 17, 2008.

· Ramada Plaza & Suites, Fargo: Dinner at 6:00 p.m. (CST) Monday, Nov. 17, 2008.

· Alerus Center, Grand Forks: Lunch at 12:00 p.m. (CST) Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008.

· Grand International Inn, Minot: Lunch at 12:00 p.m. (CST) Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008.



The purpose of our meetings is to brief you on the present status of our industry, update you on the Lignite Vision 21 Program, and discuss issues affecting the lignite industry that will be considered by the 2009 Legislature. Sandi Tabor, general counsel of the Lignite Energy Council and acting director of the North Dakota Transmission Authority, will be joining me at the meetings.



We need only about an hour of your time, and we promise to keep it short and to the point. A schedule of all the meetings is attached.
