Boden is a global provider of IT services and solutions including: consultant/management; professional services such as staff augmentation, software architecture and design and training; software services; support services; quality assurance; IT modernization; data purification; and other solutions. Boden serves private and public sector clients worldwide and has an IT development center in Mandan.

Future opportunities for Boden and the IT industry in the state: Boden sees further opportunity to increase its business with both public and private sector clients. It will continue to seek ways to bring work into its Mandan development center so more North Dakota residents can be put to work and those that have moved to other states for employment can be brought back.

Current challenges facing Boden and the IT industry in the state: The current winter weather has made it difficult to recruit for positions in North Dakota, but with the right opportunities and more information on the benefits of what North Dakota has to offer this can be overcome. The biggest issue Boden faces now is the global economy and clients that are taking a “wait and see” view before initiating new business.
