Legislative Workforce Committee to Meet on July 29 in Bismarck, North Dakota

MEETING NOTICE
Senator Tony S. Grindberg, Chairman, has called a meeting of the WORKFORCE COMMITTEE.
Date: Wednesday, July 29, 2009
Time: 9:00 a.m.
Place: Roughrider Room, State Capitol, Bismarck
Agenda: Review of all of the committee's charges; consideration of study approaches for committee's
charges; and receipt of testimony on the study of technology-based entrepreneurship and
economic development best practices (Section 18 of 2009 Senate Bill No. 2018), the study of
the establishment and development of certified technology parks (Section 1 of 2009 Senate
Bill No. 2390), the study of the state's system for addressing workforce needs through a
workforce system initiative (Section 19 of 2009 Senate Bill No. 2018), and the study of the
state's workforce system, the feasibility and desirability of enacting legislation to address the
issues identified in the 2007-08 interim Workforce Committee's consultant's report, and the
implementation of workforce initiatives enacted by the 61st Legislative Assembly
