GSN 2009 AWARDS ENTRY EXTENDED TO AUGUST 14


The competition is heating up in all three of our Homeland Security Awards categories:

Outstanding Vendors of IT Security Products and Solutions
Outstanding Vendors of Physical Security Products and Solutions
Government Officials and Agencies that have created outstanding security programs or initiatives
But don't despair if you missed the deadline of July 31, because you now have until August 14 to enter the program and get the recognition that you and your organization deserve. And if you're a government official, don't worry about the cost of entering, because there's no charge for government officials and their agencies to enter.

Finalists will be announced by our judges on September 15.

Our gala Awards dinner will open to the tune of bagpipes at the Roosevelt Hotel on October 27, the evening before the opening of the ISC East/Public Security and Safety Expo. If you're going to be at the ISC Show, you shouldn't miss this memorable event, which will culminate with the Fred V. Morrone Memorial Nine-Eleven Award to a prominent government official, presented by the International Association of Airport and Seaport Police.

The names of all winners and finalists will also be published by GSN in November and December issues, along with video interviews, profiles and case studies of the IT and Physical Security vendor companies and government officials and agencies who work tirelessly to keep our nation secure.
