Representative Pomeroy on the Internet

Dear Friend,

On Thursday, August 20th at 12 p.m., I will be hosting a tele-town hall to discuss one of the biggest issues facing our country these days – health care reform. I hope that you can join me.

Health care reform is a serious issue that requires immediate action. Costs continue to rise, putting a greater financial strain on our federal government and families, while more and more North Dakotans are finding their insurance coverage shrinking.

As you know, Congress has been wrestling for months now on how best to reform our health care system. Proposals are advancing within the U.S. House of Representatives aimed at incentivizing quality health care, ending discriminatory insurance practices and making health care more affordable. During my tele-town hall, I would like to share with you the elements of these proposals as well as receive your feedback on how these proposals will impact North Dakotans and what changes are needed to make sure that these proposals work for families and businesses in our state.

To participate in my tele-town hall, just call me toll free on Thursday, August 20th at 12 p.m., at 1-800-369-2177 and entering the code “health care”.

I look forward to talking to you on the 20th.

Earl Pomeroy

MEMBER OF CONGRESS
