A much-anticipated report released April 29 by the National Research Council (NRC) calls for better data on the connections between teacher preparation and learning in order to assess preparation programs’ quality. In partnership with Stanford University (CA) and the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO), AACTE is pleased to announce generous grants from the Ford Foundation, MetLife Foundation, and the Stuart Foundation supporting the teacher performance assessment initiative.
